French Farmhouse

A fabulous fixer upper

We have a whole extra floor to create some magic in. The ground floor is a fairly blank canvas with a gorgeous fireplace and stone walls. The exterior is as pretty as a picture and there is a glorious garden to wander around in.

The Fireplace

A feature we love

One end of the room has this striking fireplace and the other end has gorgeous stonework... in between will be a staircase and a couple of undecided rooms.

This is the gorgeous stonework at the other end.

Out with the old

These beams had a darn good run but sadly woodworm finished them off.

In with the new

So we had to put in new ones, with a little help from our friends - the Genie Lift & the Cement Mixer of course!
