Portraying your home in its very best and most beautiful shimmering light.

Home Styling

Having furniture and accessories present rather than an unfurnished room can really show off the features and sometimes help an odd shaped room make sense. And incredibly it doesn't make the room look smaller! Our aim is to help show your property in the very best light and the most spacious and flattering layout. Styling your home could really help future buyers see themselves living in your home... their future dream home.

Home Staging / Styling... what's the difference?? Well our definition is...

Well the end result for both options is about showing the property at it’s very best – the goal is to really appeal to the buyer or renter, get more clicks on the Estate Agent’s site(s), more serious views to your property – creating real demand.

Staging is furnishing an empty property.

Styling is with a property some with furniture (sometimes) the owners are still living there.

The main objective is to sympathetically depersonalise your property so that those viewing can really see themselves living there, imagine where their sofa and TV will go, what they will cook in the kitchen, relaxing with a book, glass of wine and the evening sun on you balcony, patio, terrace, decking....

We can offer home styling and decluttering advice and how to make your place look it's best for the Estate Agent photos and actual view

Home bar space at the end of the kitchen
Soft furnishings soften the room adding colour and texture
Boulangerie Sign as a fun feature
Vintage wall sign in living room

Couple of quick tips..

Although all properties are different - an overview is -

Main focus rooms are unsurprisingly the kitchen, main bathroom, living room, master bedroom.

Less is more!! Meaning that if you can squirrel lots of your lovely things away and have it looking more minimlist than you would like, then the viewer can see the actual room and not just distracted by your fabulous taste in nick-nacks or wall art.. Some accessories - cushions, pictures on the walls, nick-nacks are a nice touch because they make a room feel warmer, loved, more friendly - too many is usually the current owners preference (I like too much too!!)

Try not to take it to heart! Focus on the reason - you're selling your property (even if you don't really want to).

You're taking the good stuff with you and if you're packing it away - it's ready for the move - extra Brownie points to you!!

Photos of family are best to pack up ready if you can. They will have to be blurred out on the internet anyway and remenber - it's not going to be your house much longer - you're moving on with your precious things.
