Welcome to our little blog about homes, DIY, room makeovers, painting, home staging and no doubt a mention of a home bar and a cocktail or two.

Welcome to our little home

1. Who are we?

Heyyy, we are Claire and Graeme - amongst other things a designer and builder. We've run a bar together - hence the chat about cocktails.

2. What do we do?

Well Graeme is an all round builder with 20 plus years experience in all areas. I call him Mr Fix It, he loves a challenge and has to fix everything.

I'm not too shabby at painting after a summer of painting window panes, doors, interior and exterior walls. I'm also partial to playing around with paint finishes but only on my own homes so far!

3. What have we done?

We've worked together for several years now on several properties and projects from a 400 year old Grade II Listed old Coaching Inn, a 30 year old home super fun modernisation project, refresh work on a minimalist modern open plan home with incredible views up in the hills of Nice, South of France.

Ongoing project is a 1970's bijou villa in need of some attention and a paint makeover - that's out home!

4. The why?

We love to create something incredible, sometimes we get the most exciting projects like home bars, decorative walls of brick slips, creating new space that is current and relevant for today's requirements.

We also love to see the customer smile - we had one who wanted to move into her property that she rented out because we made it look & feel soooo good!! Now that's going home satisfied!!

5. Where are we?

Well usually we work in Norfolk, UK - usually on the East Coast - however we have done some work further afield when it's just too irresistible - or a hotter climate ha ha!!

6. What we love

We love the smiles when the property looks incredible or rents before it's even ready, or increases value.. or all of the above!

So to wrap it up - we kind of love what we do! Happy workers, happy customers, doesn't get much better than that!
